Our circulatory system is made up of blood vessels, a plant's circulatory system is made up of xylem and phloem. Xylem consists of two types of cells known as tracheids and vessel elements. These form tube-shaped structures which provide pathways for water and minerals from a plants roots to the leaves. Vessels are found only in angiosperms or flowering plants.
